I love visiting The Humane Society of Calvert County. They have a wonderful staff as well as many committed volunteers that work daily to ensure the animals have love and care until they find their forever homes. The members of the HSCC work tirelessly to find the perfect dog, cat, or many other animals (when they are available) to match to each person looking for their new best friend. I look forward to volunteering at the events throughout the year, and feel welcomed by everyone I've met there. If you are looking for a new family member, I highly recommend that you visit the Humane Society of Calvert County!!!!

I purchased my first dog from the Humane Society of Calvert County back in 2002, a male Doberman and also a male Pit Bull from them in 2011. Both dogs were fantastic and easy going dogs. The staff has always been polite and very helpful. I highly recommend them.
We got one of my dogs from there and that was the best time of my life they have many dogs and plenty of room for their comfort
